What Does Intentional Control Mean?
One of the problems that automation and control systems have is the constant 'tug-of-war' amongst the different programming or logic installed into the project. One set of programming does one thing, for example, turns lights off, whilst another event fires another set of logic, for example, turn lights on. The team behind Intentional Control is developing what we have termed the Intentional Model.
The Intentional Model is an entirely different way of looking at the project and the automation required. Rather than reacting with logic statements fired off as a result of a trigger event, the Intentional Model takes the view that we should start with the INTENT of the automation. What did we intend to have happen, rather than what just happened.
